I practically call myself a simmer. I always inspired by this game. I've played The Sims for about 2 years now. I've played the first release (which is the original), The Sims 3, and The Sims 4. From all of "The Sims" branch, my favorite is "The Sims 4". Why? Because there, I can adjust my sims they way I wanted it to look. Even though "The Sims" has loads of extension packs, they are made to make the original game better. How? By putting new hairstyles, clothings, activities, house lots and much more. I could even play this game for hours.
Creating a Sim isn't as easy as it seems, well... if you wanted it to look like someone (ex. your friends, certain celebrities, or yourself). That requires very strong details, and that's why I love "The Sims 4". The coolest part from that game, is you can add an alien to your family! It's weird, but cool! I thought I'll never have an alien in my household. "The Sims" is like my second life, where I can finally make my crush and become spouses (literally) and have my own cute kids. Even those personality traits are funny. I can't even stop laughing when they're playful xD.
Anyways, that's my favorite game. So what's your favorite game? If it's "The Sims", Please tell me which one is your favorite and why. I am a curious person and I wanna know why :P.
Although sims is not my favorite game, but i enjoyed playing it a lot! I bought sims3 somewhere last year and invested about 100 hours in the game. The amount of customisation you can do in the game is crazy. I could do my own plastic surgery on each character and choose my own traits :). I remember I created a family of where each of them had different personalities, with some having all the good traits and some having all the bad traits. I cannot really recall the names of the traits, but for example I had one guy who was a couch potato, easily afraid, worrywart, and have schizophrenia xd.
I even spent like 10hours creating my own dream house from scratch. Found the biggest house, tore it down completely and built it the way i want(using cheatcodes that give me gold). I created many storylines with each of my character. For example my father was a womanizer LOL while his son is a robber.
I also had another family where i did not use any cheats to get gold. But instead i tried to do a rags to riches family of 4. Where i tried my best to make my teenage kid do well in school to secure a good job next time, and in the meantime he was a hacker at nighttime to earn extra cash. The dad was training to be a robber meanwhile hahahah. But when the parents had another baby, he turned out to have pink hair thanks to the mum. And i just fed him icecream all day and he became really fat which was funny.
I just like how customisable this game is, and how certain actions will lead to certain outcomes. Sadly for me the game got a bit repetitive after 100+hours and i have stopped playing it since then. Still i enjoyed playing it while it lasted:) If sims have a multiplayer mode in the future i will comeback and play for sure. Multiplayer sounds so cool in a game like this.
sims 4 is great but not that great because i only have the cats and dogs expansion pack. i have my last exams coming up in a few months so i haven't actually played for almost half a year... but that hasn't stopped me! i've highkey been spending most of my free time looking for sims cc to download on to my game when i do start playing again. custom content is a poor simmer's best friend.
sims 4 sucks. the only part thats great is creating your sim and your house but after half an hour of gameplay i'm literally ready to set fire to said sim and house. sims 4 is only great when you're rich because then you can actually buy all the cool expansion packs. i really want bowling night...
THIS THREAD IS EVERYTHING
I started playing the sims when I was about 6-7 years old.
I have played every single sims game that came out and still own them all haha I literally have 6 draws just full of old sims packs and discs so I'll shorten it down to my favourite from each game.
The sims: Makin Magic. Magic powers! NEED I SAY MORE?!
The sims 2: Apartment life, you could build/modify apartments, It was actually better than the sims 4 city living apartments from a building aspect, I use to hack into the neighbours units to make mine bigger ROFL plus you got money from roommates :D
The sims 3: University life. Building dorms, failing or passing class, slacking off or studying plus the parties!
Sims 4: Get to work, while in other sims games there were job related things, the sims 4 takes you to new worlds with work lots. Detective is my favourite one to go to, you get to see crime scenes, collect evidence, arrest the suspect then get the confessions out of them.
I would love to see Sims 4 bring out a University expantion. That would complete it :D
When I was a kid, I always play Sims 3 on phone. I always go to other houses and make some friend but in some houses, there are partners and the girl is pretty so I just talk to girls to be friend them and make it my fiancèè and then when her partner (boy) talked to me, I slapped her partner and it became my nemesis hahaha. I invited my fiancèè to my house and we lived there together but I eat in friends house so I don't need to waste 10 simoleon per grab of food in fridge hahahaha.
I love SIMS, I played it for a while on my housemate's old laptop and then they had to buy another and wasn't allowed to download anymore games. I tried playing it on my phone, but I have a small screen phone so it was pretty hard to do. When I did play it back then I made myself grow old so I can see what my daugher there would look like, hahaha.
