As an events organizer, I've learned to appreciate all genres of music, no matter the decade. Most weddings I have handled talk of an overwhelming feeling of love for each other and most songs the bride, yes usually the bride does, picks out for their lovely wedding day are love songs.
It was during a wedding that the groom specifically requested this song to be played as their first dance together as husband and wife, it's a bit cheesy but please try to understand.

Ofcourse if you know me, I couldn't resist to ask the groom, during one of the many preparation meetings we've had with him and his bride, why this song. He in a nonchalant, giddy way said "because if I didn't say hello, then we'd probably not here right now". After much digging and prying, yes sorry it's part of my job to get a feel of how everything started so that I can add more ideas to capture their love story, I learned that they were in the same class since high school and even throughout college although not close but definitely not strangers, she was trying to move on from a failed relationship of three years, he had a long time crush on her and felt the need to console her and he walked up to her one day and said hello, remember me, and that was that.
Oftentimes all it does take is one simple gesture of conern and a whole lot of faith and fate. Take a chance, you'll never know where it might lead you. You'll never know how much happiness it will bring you.
