How not to get addicted to Habbo Hotel
Most of us here at The United Nations share one common interest known as Habbo Hotel.
Habbo can become very addicting for some players where they will get addicted by not leaving the application or computer device. Players may buy Habbo credits, furniture or Habbo club that may increase their addictiveness.
Here are some simple tips you can follow:
1. Find a new hobby or interest
Instead of spending time online players can focus on real-life activities. This can include playing sports to competing in competitive activities, listening to playing music, socialising with friends and family, reading and writing or painting.
2. Set budget limits
For the players that purchase Habbo credits, you may set budget limits to help you not get so addicted to the game. You can do this by writing down a goal or finding other ways to profit. Try winning events or gaining more pay points within the United Nations.
3. Set yourself a timeframe
Self-explanatory, set times and dates when you will be online next. This can help if you often don’t have anything planned for your day or you are on holidays for school or work. As mentioned before try other hobbies or activities.
4. Don't get personal
Do not trust anyone online. Many players on Habbo Hotel are dangerous this is not aimed at anyone in UN but if you put yourself out there in other rooms you may be in danger. Keep all private information to yourself and remain civil with everyone so you don’t stress about online drama.
5. Log off
If something has upset you or you fear of becoming addicted simply log off. No one needs the extra stress, especially over an online game. If something is upsetting, you talk to a trusted adult or UN Owner.
