Hello. I prefer not to mention names but this happened to me & made me very curious. I still think it's valid thing to do. Please enlighten me.
I was role playing as a trainee. I changed my motto to Trainee, setting badge to default when inside the training room. As I was role playing, I asked our friendly trainer to train me. I was joking with the trainer, didn't want the trainer to train me formally.
To my surprise, I was messaged by a higher rank. Asking what I was doing. He informed me that it wasn't allowed & I would get warning for fooling around. He mentioned that if owner spotted me doing it, something bad would happened to me. The problem ended after I changed back my motto & badge.
Personally, I felt that I didn't do anything wrong.
- I was requesting for training in trainee motto & default badge (Blue Flag). Public would think I am just a trainee, waiting to be trained.
- Remained at training room at all times with trainee motto & default badge. Neither did I exit the training room not enter the trainer area. There was no security breeches.
- Although there was a trainee there at the moment, I did not disrupt the training. I only spoke to trainer while the trainee was doing things (creating account/reading guide)
- I have been joking with the trainer before I role played as trainee. There was no means to disrespect anyone(inclusive of the trainee)
Anyway I'm not kicking a fuss about it. Just discussing whether role playing as trainee is allowed since I was stopped by higher rank.
I thought that the higher rank is taking it too seriously. Its a game. Chill and have fun. It isn't real life.
So, what's everyone opinion ? Please share :D
When I was primarliy trainer I had 2 higher ranks "fool" us into re-training them (1 i recognized name) but I thought it was fun and funny. base was slow and they weren't being disrespectrul and they were following all trainee rules so whats the big deal? Maybe the only problem is that HR doesnt want someone creating a new false acct (on website) just for fun?
Ah, glad people had the same sentiment. Thank you to sharing your opinion. So others do it too. New false account is indeed unnecessary.
To be safe this is highly not recommended to be done if you are caught doing this you might get a deduction or even expelled from United Nations Please Don't Do It Again Ty

Since trainee guide, I have read roleplay is allowed in base provided being respectful & obey higher rank.
Now Astro is saying role playing as trainee would get us deducted or fired from United Nations.
I dont understand. Why is role playing as trainee not allowed ? It's ridiculous. We can't have fun with fellow trainers ? Why so serious ?
Any explanation from OOA or owners ?
I asked Getsum her opinion, and she said she doesnt see why it'd be a problem if it was slow and no actuall trainees were in training. I mentioned that the role-palyer woud be respectful of course

I think it's alright to do so when there's no one in training; I've done it once or twice myself but that was quite a while back. I wouldn't recommend doing this either as it is quite frankly pointless, and I see no reason why one should actually do so. A little fun once in a while is fine, but just be sure not to disrupt anyone at "work". Although it may be a game, as you've mentioned, some sensitive people take games very seriously so.. be wary.
