Thats a really sweet story 

As a biologist, I like the character of the guy! I mean, let's face it, let's not destroy nature just to show our "love". (Trivia: Carving on a tree is like making the tree sick, it's like having an open wound. So, lesson learned! NO MORE CARVING ON TREES and PLANT MORE TREES)

Kidding aside, this story is so sweet, making me more hopeless romantic! Even though it's painful to love, I'd love anyways...

I like the mood in this short story. You could have included the type of tree to make it more symbolic but I'm not the one to critique heavily; the setting, the plot, the imagery are spectacular nonetheless. Good work!

I really love this story, I don't know how about somehow I felt that I could understand how she feel xD

but the girl already carved her name wouldnt that make the tree broken alrdy sdalfkjf im sorry for being dumb
