Welcome to the Department of Forums first Monthly Newsletter! In this issue we will be bringing you some updates from around United Nations including the opening of a new department, our solution to the rise in spam bots, the Monthly Forum Competition Winners, May’s Monthly Forum Competition, a message from our Special Units, and the rebirth of our Members of the Month along with April’s Members of the Month!
One of our newest Departments, fresh out of the works is the Department of Forums, DOF for short. Opened by Cyndii and KiraOku in early April the department aims to benefit our Forums, making it more alive and active by moderating the newest threads and making sure our community is engaged in our new forum events and participates in future forum competitions. DOF is divided into different topics with different material being produced by its members for each, It is also in charge of the Monthly Forum Competitions and the Monthly Newsletters! The department is open to anyone who is of Rank Senior Management and above as well as anyone who has been a UN member for at least a month. If this is something that would interest you then get in touch!
As we all know Habbo has recently been overrun by a wave of spam bots. These have been set up by either retro habbos or scam websites. United Nations have taken steps to try and combat them within our community. There are currently a number of triggers that have been set in place via the wired that will kick them automatically, these words will take effect whether they’re used individually or within another word. The trigger words are;
FREE
FR33
RET
DRILL
MACKLE
Examples of other words that contain some of these triggers include words like Freeze, Pretty or Return. Please be wary when you are typing, what you are typing so you don’t get automatically kicked from the room by accident! Also note when you are training, there are two uses of the word “Free” and both of which are near the end of the training script. One can be switched for the word “empty” and the other switched with “Welcome”.
This month we saw the first of the returning and permanent Monthly Forum Competition hosted by KiraOku. The theme was Re-design UN’s Logo! Congratulations to everyone who took part. Here are our winners;

Onwards with next month’s competition! This month your challenge is to come up with a motto that represents UN. The competition closes on May 31st and the prizes will be 1st place winning 10k RP, 2nd with 5k RP and 1k RP with all participants receiving 250 RP
UN has decided to bring back it’s Members of the Month Reward Scheme to recognise those throughout UN for their hard work. This could be within a special unit or within UN! Our members of the month for this Month are as follows! Each member will receive 10,000 Rank Points as a reward for their hard work. Congratulations to all of this month’s winners
