Hacking is known as someone gaining unauthorized access to a system, piece of data, computer or accounts.
How not to get hacked

Unfortunately, hackers are everywhere on the internet, this includes the Habbo Hotel. I wanted to create this thread to assist people from being hacked on a variety of different accounts. As I've experienced this and I am sure a few other people have. The experience is frightening and is best to avoid at all costs.
Nothing is more devastating than seeing your Habbo account being hacked and losing Habbo Credits or Furni that you have worked for. Below are simple tips you can follow to stay safe online.
Change your email address
Make sure you change your email address every so often as email addresses are easy to get into and changing it every now and again will help.
Verify your email address
If you haven’t already verify your email address and have your mobile number linked to your email address. This is good for the verification steps and will keep your accounts secure.
Creating a Password
Change your password as often as you can. Make sure your password is a variety of different characters including numbers, capital letters, and punctuation. Having a difficult password will be harder for the hacker to crack.
Keep your information private
Do not give your information out to anyone and that includes your online friends because you never know if you will get into a dispute with them and they may give out your information.
Accepting Friend requests
Accept Habbo friend requests only if you know the person from someone trusted or friends you know are not toxic or malicious. Tare so many suspicious people on Habbo who want to get other people's information and use it to their advantage.
Security questions
Make sure you have security questions on your account as it helps make your account even more secure. Don't use easy answers that are easy to guess. You can always type random letters to make the answers more secure.
Habbo presents
Be careful when someone sends you a gift on Habbo as there are hackers who send gifts which suspicious links on them which they can get your information along with gaining access to your account. This has been confirmed by Habbo.
Don't click on strange links
Never click on a website link from anyone that looks suspicious and strange as it could be a website which could get your information and is possible to get your account hacked. Make sure you're careful about what you download onto your computer because it could get your details. Do not download files ending .exe or exe
