Before you continue reading, I would like to warn you of potential spoiler alerts in this forum post. So for those who have to watched the movie, it is recommended that you go watch it first before coming back to read this forum.
I’m not surprised if many of you guys said that you have watched the movie Bird Box. But just some information about the movie itself, Bird Box is a post-apocalyptic film about a woman and two kids trying to make it through the forest and river blindfolded to avoid supernatural entities that would cause people who see them to die by suicide. This movie was released on Netflix last year in December and become a hot topic amongst many.
It was a movie with a different and new concept. While I feel that it was a good movie, there were still some lacking areas in the plot of the movie. How did the supernatural entities looked like which could cause suicidal actions? This was probably something that I was looking throughout the entire movie but was not mention at all. At the ending when they reach the School for The Blind, what happens after that? Is no one going to do anything about the supernatural entities? Are they all going to live there forever in such conditions? There were so many unanswered questions in the movie.
Having said that, I still do think it was a good movie and would recommend those who have yet to watch the movie to give a try.
Bird Box was a pretty good movie, the cast is phenominal on their own & together. I do agree with there being lacking spots. I did really feel as if it went by really slowly and the producers didn't use the running time to their full potential. When I finished the movie, I had to take a moment and get back to reality.
Imagine a real life Bird Box, though. That would be beyond insane.
I watched this movie and I did feel exactly the same. But I have read in another thread or something that it should have actually ended in a different way but they sugar coated it and so. Neverthelesss, it is a completely different concept (other than the Quiet Place) but regardless it is quite a good movie if you don't over think it too much >.>
