I was 12 when my friends encouraged me to try reading romance novels; and being the naive kid entering her teenage years, they've successfully dragged me with them in the perfectly crafted realm of fiction.
It started with me reading novels in e-book format --- unconsciously smiling and blushing because of the sweet gestures of the leads; squeezing my nose to stiffle my sobs whenever there's a heartbreaking part; and hiding under the sheets to finish stories late at night. How I hate my friends for threatening me to spoil me with their favorite parts especially the ending when I was just halfway done with the story.
I also remember reading She's Dating the Gangster of an author going with the pen name, SG Wannabe. The whole story made me miserably crazy for days, crying buckets of tears and waking up with puffy eyes, as if I was suffering with the leads.
Since then, reading has become my habit. Publishing this post, I just want to share you with my ever favorite novel, that of which originally written by Beeyotch (Ms. Ariesa Domingo) in Wattpad, entitled "Just the Strings" (JTS). It is in Filipino - English, and is certainly one of the bests.
It is about this girl, Mary Imogen Suarez who's led to believe that she should end up with Parker Adrian Palma for some reason. The thing is, Parker only see her as his bestfriend --- nothing more, nothing less. But when things started to fall in their right place with Saint Iverson Gomez de Liano appearing in the picture, Parker decided to finally look her way. (You really should read the whole story!)
Already got a list of the fictional characters I fell in love with, but Saint made me drop it off. Among the males I came across with (both from stories and in real life), he's just that one-of-a-kind man --- tall, dark, curly and handsome basketball prodigy and religious type of a sweet and caring family guy --- who even aced the idea of my dream guy. If only I could just snatch him out of the book or jump inside to be his very own Mary Imogen, I would, really.

My favorite is this trilogy book called love me with lies and it's so damn good. the love story is just beyond with how it takes turns and the selfishness and sooo. i melt and cried (not really) but definitely addicting!
