[DOF] Entertainment: Poetry (The Borderline Mind)

Her body tattered in bruises and scars,

her neck adorned with a collar to control her,

she was thought by many to be the personification of how mental hospitals treat their patients,

only to find out that she suffered in silence,

in a world with no color,  

despite the inhumane way she was treated,

she would treat everyone kindly,

never rude, unless in an irritable mood,

always happy unless she was caged with an unbearable feeling of emptiness,

suffering in silence,

in a world without color.
