Hello guys, welcome to my guide on how to Submit Threads in Task Threads in DOF Page. I dedicate this for our new members and future members of our Department (Department Of Forums), so let's get started.
First: You choose topic from DOF Page, either Advice and Second Opinions, Articles and Newsletter, Competitions/Events and Mini Games, Entertainment or Question or Surveys. Here's the Topics:
Advice & Second Opinions
Members will be required to post threads regarding the following topics followed by any fun facts, advice and giving a second opinion on a certain topic or discussion. You will have the option to post the forum thread in any form you like, such as a personal life events or on a certain subject you find interesting.
You are also responsible for replying or answering following questions or comments made by members who do comment on your thread.
- Makeup tips and trends.
- Fashion tips, trends and must haves.
- Relationship goals, trivia and advice.
- Life problems, worries and choices.
Articles & Newsletter
Members will be required to update the United Nations forum with life updates and any form of news. You may write about anything Habbo related or any live events that has happened around the world.
You’ll be given the option of writing your own short articles based on your own selected topic or life events you’d like to notify our community, and you will also be given the option to take part in writing our Monthly Newsletter which is published once a Month.
Newsletter
The Newsletter will be published once a month and will be worked on by the whole team and fed into by both the Foundation Team and Department Leaders.
Your job is to write an initial draft and highlight anything you think people should be made aware of this month.
Articles
Articles are short written passages that should never exceed 1000 words.
Write Facts & Information about United Nations.
Interviews with any member about their experience or whatever you think is relevant.
Competitions, Events & Mini Games
Members will be expected to host/start a variety of games including the Monthly Forum Competition. You’ll be given the opportunity to create a variety of forum based games that can vary from ongoing competitive games to question based games and giving Rank Points based on participation and the type of event.
Competitions
DOF will be in charge of the Monthly Forum Competitions.
Your job is to promote the current Competition and come up with new concept and develop the Competition for the coming month.
The competition could be anything, writing, designing or building.
Games & Mini Games
Create a number of games that range from those that do give ranks, such as boys vs girls, to games that give rank point rewards.
Games that run over multiple days to a week and only a handful of members win.
24 hour short sharp games with multiple winners. (Bulk Giveaways)
Entertainment
If you choose the Entertainment topic then you can write a short piece about anything of your choosing. This could be to promote something up and coming that you personally are interested in, or you think others would be interested in. It’s a very open topic so you can write about whatever you like as to why this is the Entertainment topic. Try and make it something you would like to read when you’re bored.

Questions and Surveys
The Questions & Surveys are our way to utilise the forums to gain information about how UN is running and what people do and don’t like or what else UN could be doing. This is your opportunity to ask the members of UN what they think about something and get feedback, on both improvements and positive which we can pass on to others. You create surveys that you think would benefit UN.
Examples include:
What do you like best?
What could be improved?
Second: Once you have chosen a topic, you can now go to United Nation Discussion if you choose to make a Discussions and etc., to Forum Games if you want to make a new Forum Game. Check the Image Link > http://prntscr.com/jf4bl6
Third: If you choose to to make a Entertainment Thread always put the Topic Title like in the image link >> http://prntscr.com/jf4cin

In that way we can easily identify what topic you chose.
Fourth: After you make a thread and saved (Finished), you can now submit it in DOF Task Threads in DOF Page, go to corresponding link of Task Thread Topic like in the image > http://prntscr.com/jf4e7j
Fifth: In submitting threads that you made, you are required to have the comment link. The Comment Link is the url of other threads that you have commented, if you haven't commented on any threads you can comment in forum games or in other threads and save like in the image:
Sixth: Once you're done with Comment, get the url of the thread where you comment like in the image > http://prntscr.com/jf4gh9
Seventh: Sumbit your Thread Link and Comment Link in corresponding Task Thread example in Entertainment, click the Weekly Topic: Entertainment link and Entertainment Page will Pop up like in the image > http://prntscr.com/jf4hw5
Eighth: You submit your threads by Posting your Thread Link and the Comment Link and Save like in the image > http://prntscr.com/jf4jnn
Ninth: Same Process in submitting other Threads in Task Threads but in Forum Games you put the winners so Nickyla will add the points to winners of your forum games like in the image > http://prntscr.com/jf4l6s
Tenth: You can only Submit 1 Thread Link and Comment Link per Comment, "Do not" submit 2 or more Thread Links at once because we count one comment in Task Thread as 1 even you submit 2 or more of your Thread Links. Don't ever do what's in the image below: http://prntscr.com/jf4pkg
It's wrong, because I'm rushing to submit the Threads to Task Threads. Submit your Threads as soon as possible before Sunday, Nickyla marks Task Threads in sunday and awards points so she will be busy that day. In case you haven't submitted your Threads, just talk to us and let us know why so we can give you Extension to submit your Threads.
My Suggestions:
* If you're planning to make a Forum Game with more rounds like upto 24 Rounds, I suggest to make it at the begininng of the week (Monday or Tuesday) so you have lots of time to manage your Forum Games. Sometimes Forum Games takes Days before it's finished so don't do it in Thursdays or Fridays.
* Submit your Threads as soon as you finished making it instead of submitting it in last minute so you will have time to make other threads or do stuffs. Do not rush in submitting Threads as you might make a mistake like example:
- Wrong Links
- Wrong Task Threads
or any possible mistake that we might encounter.
* Set a schedule on doing your Threads as we're not sure when we will be available.
* If you're having a problem, contact us as soon as possible so we can help you before its too late.
* Don't be shy to Promote your Thread in base, be proud of it :)
