It has been fourteen days,
Fourteen days since you were born,
Fourteen days since we officially met,
Fourteen days since I became your mother.
Even after doing research, reading many books and seeking advice
I still have my moments,
Moments where I have no idea what I'm doing,
Moments where I am just blank
Moments where I am feeling overwhelmed, stressed and tired
Moments where I just want to cry
I know that this is just the beginning,
I know that some nights will be longer than others,
I know that we will have better days,
I know from the beginning that this won't be easy,
but these days will go by so quick
Days will become weeks, weeks become months and months will become years,
For now, I don't mind having a messy home if it means I get to spend a bit more time watching you grow
As long as you are always full and getting all of the nutrients you need,
I don't mind having a full sink.
As long as you are wearing fresh clean clothes,
I don't mind folding a full laundry basket.
As long as you can bathe in clean water,
I don't mind having a wet bathroom floor.
As long as you can experience a happy and healthy childhood,
I don't mind at all.
So, for now I tell myself to cherish these days,
Cherish these days where you need me,
Cherish all of the dirty wet nappies,
Cherish all of the screaming, crying, and tantrums,
Cherish all of the long nights,
And cherish all of the little moments
For you my child, you deserve the very best of me.
Nothing beats a mother's love. I know you'll take care of your child the way you looked after UN. My heart is melted. Enjoy your moments together and I wish both of you good health!
14 days, each one more precious than the last <3

I know your immense love and care for you beautiful child will go on for a long time and he will grow great
It opens up a door to which leads to a mother's perspective of raising a child: toilsome and difficult. Some mothers often abandon these little angels for whatever reason, choosing to omit to what they've made. But some choose to carry these angels for 8 months or more, and giving birth to them. It renders me speechless as to what I've read. Splendid!
First, I wanna say hi to Lemonade, I mean Myles! You grow up so fast! I'm your virtual god-sister ;)
Congratulations in your first steps on being a mother (and there would be more years coming). I don't know how difficult it is to be a mother, but I am a daughter, so I know my own naughtiness and curiosities (for sure, I was difficult to handle). It make take awhile before Myles understand the world, but you should cherish him forever (and I tell you, time do really fly!).Thanks for sharing your point-of-view as a mother, and you are one great mama!
CONGRATULATIONS and I hope the best for your child, Lemonade.
This is the sweetest!
