Hello everyone, it's me PinkPolka9182.. with a forum from Department of Forums (DOF).
Today I wanted to creat awareness and introduce a learning piece for you all within British Sign Language (BSL), it not only could change someone else's life but your own too by learning a new skill, being able to communicate to a part of the community you may have never even thought about.
Deaf people around the world use different types of sign language these can be:
British Sign Language (BSL)
American Sign Language (ASL)
Makaton
Sign Supported English (SSE)
Today I want to give you all a sign of the week so you can practice at home, work or wherever you may go in your lives because you may even use this sign once in your life.

You use your most dominant hand always! Raise your index finger and move it left to right twice either side as if you're making a 'no' gesture.
