[DOF] What Parents See in a Child at UN

I'm pretty young compared to most of the other UN members being 16. I also still live with my parents, and they don't understand why I do all this forum work for a game. Why I work in a game.

What they don't see is all the friends I've made through UN. My parents look at me and see a moody teen who spends all her time up in her room on her laptop.

It's also easy for me to miss a chore and they will restrict my screen time, and I go days away from UN.

If you still live with your parents, make sure to spend time with them too! Don't let UN become an issue that your whole family is involved in.

Always have a time for yourself and your family. We would understand if you would be away sometimes, we have our own personal lives, too. I hope your family does understand that you make friends within a community - a community that would be with you in long, long journeys.

Sometimes, some things are just left to be unknown. Some people would not understand even if you tell them a hundred times about it, but the good thing is: you enjoy what you're doing. You're passionate in what you do and you still do it.

Take care!
