Keep yourself safe from scammers!

Hello United Nations!

It has come to the OOA/OWN's attention that we recently have seen activity from a mafia in base trying to scam UN members. We already have had some members lose their personal items on Habbo.com because of this mafia adding us one by one and then private messaging us to say things in order to scare us. Please do not fall for this wicked trick. It's not on & yes, it's against the Habbo way.

The mafia that has been targetting the United Nations is one called 'The Valore Family' if you see anyone wearing this badge in base please notify an OOA or OWN as soon as possible as we are wanting to monitor the activity to keep you all safe.
This is what the badge looks like:

The user to look out for is Beckybooban3, if she adds you decline the friend request all she wants to do is to scare you and then scam you for your furni's and coins. Don't be a victim to this!

Tips on keeping yourself safe online

Tip 1: Never ever tell anyone your password - Not only do you put yourself as risk of a hack but you could potientally put others at risk.
Tip 2: Don't accept anyone you don't know - This way you keep yourself safe from people you don't know on Habbo, remember people online are not what they say they are. You can't trust them!
Tip 3: Keep your settings as high as possible - This way the scammer has no way of getting in contact with you let alone talk to you.
Tip 4: Lookout for the latest scams
Online threats are evolving all the time, so make sure you know what to look out for. Stay on top of and other threats by staying informed

Yes

Always do not trust someone that you just met especially in online, we do not know what's his/her intention why he/she wants you to be his/her friend. When visiting a website and it requires you to login your account to verify, use other account that you didn't use or create an account just for logging in to websites and do not use your personal accounts, websites have logs and database which is accessible by owner of website so they can view your account details. Just like a huge hacking activity in habbo where you go to a giveaway and asked you to go to this website and login your account, many got hacked and I almost fall to that trick. They might use tricky scamming/hacking technique to get your account, do not trust in websites. Another thing is do not share your personal information especially Credit Card number or IP Address, in Credit Card number they can use your account to buy lots of things ad charge it to your account. In IP Address, they can BlackMail you like "Give me X amount of money/habbo credits or I will DDoS you". Always create a guess account in your Computer/Laptop or even Mobile (Android 6.0+ have account features where you can switch to Guess Account) if you're sharing your pc to other peoples and do not give the password of your account in Computer or Laptop. If you give your password to other peoples, they can see saved passwords in visited website with Login required or insert virus to yoir pc or laptop.
