Nooby says Hello - Episode 3 (Finding your motivation)
Welcome to part 3 of my series of Nooby says Hello, where I share with all of you some nugget of truth and inspiration relating to Habbo or UN that I thought would be good to share. In this series, I would like to inspire you on your motivations in joining UN as your agency to be in?
Like many of you guys, I'm sure we all started out in this predicament where we had a wide array of agencies to choose from and we were struggling to decide which would be the best fit for us. A scroll through the room pages and we'll be met with just many agencies with really crowded bases, with a buzzling activity booming through the base and they all seem like a really fun place to be in!
For me personally, I chose UN because of 3 key factors/criterias which I held close to heart which I felt were really important for me to call a base a home, and I name these 3 factors/criterias the 3 'F's
1. Flexibility - A good agency is one that does not impose too many superfluous rules and regulations on the members. I believe that we all come to Habbo with the aspiration of wanting to build our connections, have fun and earn some credits at the same time. While regulations are important to main law and order, TOO MUCH of them is bad. I'm glad that UN has a really accountable and transparent pay and ranking system that does not allow people to cheat the system, but yet earn appropriately and fairly depending on their work.
2. Family - A good agency is one that promotes a warm and embracing community. UN really stands out on that one. When I first entered the base, there were so many conversations happening and everyone seemed really nice to each other. There was also a game that was happening in the base, and people were proactively participating in it as well. As I joined the agency, I realised that this was really embedded in the agency, one where people are treated kindly and fairly to one another, and there are lots of excitement going on in there too.
3. Fun - What is an agency in Habbo without FUN, FUN, FUN! In UN, we hosts countless of fun activities and events regularly that is guaranteed to making your time in UN worth it! Even if you are not keen on participating in these games because you just want to chill, the act of just watching others participate and shouting out answers for riddles or 'Fastest Typers' is really engaging as well. There are also a plethora of Departments to participate in and offer our service too, such as Radio, Forum, Event, Suggestions, Community and Media. There is something for everyone!
