Rule Interpretation

While I was working in base today many people seemed to have their own interpratation on one of the rules in the Security Guide. Now this is in a guide meant to guide you into the right direction but not officially in the Rules & Guidlines section. This is it below.

  • Note: don't forget to close your switches - don't keep them active to prevent people from going to the wrong place by accident.

Now my interpretation is that this guideline is speaking specifically to the 3 colored switches at security. The Yellow, Red, & Blue switch; We can see this when they give the reasoning behind the rule,"to prevent people from going to the wrong place by accident." Now Floor Switch #2 Controls the gate, leaving the gate open while you actively work security to me is okay. It reduces the time at security for the person teleported there from FTF and simplifies your job, since you only have to then asses their Badge and Motto / Points on Forum then pick the Colored switch that applies to them. Below leave your interpretation of the rule, if you agree, disagree, or have any other comment or concern.
